Grand Opening

Yesterday was the grand opening of our new church campus on our side of town. We took John's parents with us to the new location. It was fun to show them how the church has transformed the classrooms of the high school we are meeting in, into great classrooms for children. Many people were concerned that the children's ministry would be less than at the new location, because the main campus has such a stellar program. They have worked hard though to make the children's program at the campus just as awesome. We are enjoying the worship at the new campus, and don't mind having the pastor's sermon come across on the big screen either.


After church we went out to lunch with John's parents before they had to fly back to Chicago. It was a fun weekend with them, even if John and his Dad beat his Mom and I badly two times in our favorite card game, Hand and Foot.
