We had a very full Saturday! E got to go to a birthday party of a classmate up at a bouncy place in Bellevue. We dropped him off around noon, and then the girls and I had a special little date. We tried to go over to the mall to find lunch and walk around, but instead we spent 15 minutes just trying to find parking. I finally made a decision to skip the mall. We went across the street to
Pasta & Co for a yummy turkey and chutney sandwich and red lentil soup. We walked around Cost Plus World Market and found some treats and a few Christmas presents for loved ones there, and then I got to grab a favorite latte for myself at Starbucks. It was so fun to walk hand and hand with my little girls and have special time with them. E had a great time at his party too.

We stopped by the store and home, and then headed out to my brother's house. The kids spent the afternoon playing with their cousins. They are such good buddies, and entertain each other so well. They played dress up (the girls), wrestled (the boys), did art work, frosted cookies, had Terriyaki, watched a little of Santa Claus 1, and just generally had a great ol' time. My sis in law and I made bisochitos (a New Mexican cookie) and Maple white chocolate pecan cookies. Their house smelled like a cookie factory! On the way home, we stopped by an alpaca farm that puts on a spectacular Christmas light show to music. It was very festive.
