Mr. Pumpkin

Last Sunday, we got together with my brother Michael's family to have dinner and carve pumpkins. Ever since we moved here a few years ago, we have gotten together to do this. It is turning out to be a lovely little tradition together. Michael and Emily fixed a wonderful vegetable corn fritter soup, baked chicken, and maple corn bread. It was a delicious Fall meal. The dads carved pumpkins with the kiddos, although my nephew wanted nothing to do with being around the pumpkins. He has quite the history of adverse reactions when he smells and see the pumpkin guts. See here and here.
