Forever Friends

While in Portland I got to hang out with a few friends that I grew up with that no longer live in the NW, but were home visiting people. My friend Julia and I have known each other since the first grade. She came to town from Pasadena with her baby Freddy. I was able to get together with her, my friend Jenny and her two girls, and our friend Sabrina as well. We had such a great time catching up with each other, talking about the kids, and Sabrina's upcoming wedding!

While in Portland I also got to spend time with my friend Liz and her family. Liz and I have also known each other for many years, having attended elementary, middle and high school together as well. Liz currently lives in the suburbs of Chicago, and when I lived there we were able to rebuild our friendship. I met her, Ryan (her hubby) and their daughter at the park one morning to catch up as well. We had such a great time together reminiscing about our days in Chicago together and about life now.
