Showering the bride to be

Last Sunday, my mom, Emily and I threw a bridal shower for Karen Rose, my little bro Andrew's lovely fiance. We had a great turn out and fun lunch. The menu included: a green salad, pesto foccacia sandwiches, and fruit kabobs, and delicious desserts too.....personal fruit pizzas and Kahlua bars. The guests all introduced themselves and gave nuggets of advice to Karen, and we had her also play an entertaining pre-newlywed game to see how well she and Andrew know each other. I know she felt truly blessed by the turnout and all the great gifts, as we do with getting to add Karen Rose to our family soon.
