Andrew & Karen Rose's Wedding, July 11th, 2009

Andrew and Karen Rose's special day was one of the sweetest, most fun weddings I've ever attended. Here's why:
*It was a beautiful, blue sky, sunny day even though the forecast was calling for thunder/lightening. I kept thanking God for the gorgeous weather throughout the evening.
*The setting was amazing!
*Andrew and Karen Rose looked great, and their vows were so endearing and heartfelt.
*It was obvious that they love our Saviour and he was proclaimed.
*There were so many dear family and friends that made it.
*The grandchildren looked darling....the girls in their dresses made by Nana and the boys in their cute shorts and untucked shirts.
*They played this awesome kissing game at the reception. Names of couples were pulled from a hat, and then the couple had to show Andrew and Karen Rose a kiss, and they had to mimic it. Check out the pix of John and I and our daring kiss! oh la la.
*Georgine Rice (Pdx gospel singer/radio show host and friend of the family) sang an impromptu acappela song for the reception. (She sang at my parent's and John and my wedding as well which was so special).
*The dance floor was hot hot hot!
*The food was delicious, and the cake was GOOD! I love carrot cake.
*So many people helped out my family and they were such a blessing.

What a wonderful, memory making evening. We love you Andrew and Karen Rose!
