Gabi: Knock, Knock.
Me: Who's there?
Gabi: A pig (surprise, surprise)
Me: Pig who?
Gabi: A piggie rolling in the mud.
Emilio: Knock, Knock.
Me: Who's there?
Emilio: An old man in a bathtub.
Me: An old man in a bathtub who?
Emilio: An old man in a bathtub in California scrubbing his bottom.
Note: It doesn't surprise me that his jokes have to do with bottoms, poop, gas, etc most of the time because he usually finds all these topics really funny.
Does anyone else have to sit through not funny, and slightly strange knock knock jokes with their kids? Emilio and Gabriela find them absolutely hilarious. I put on my best fake laugh, but after the 13th time of telling the same joke, they get a little old. :)

That is so funny that you should mention the knock knock jokes because Ainsley seems to think they are hilarious right now. And most of them don't even make sense! My mom taught her this one...
knock knock
who's there?
huts
huts who?
Bless you! But she always tells it saying hutson instead of huts but she still thinks its hilarious. And everytime she tells one she always says "get it?" at the end. Z always does the boo who one but he says the whole thing, he doesn't wait for you to answer the question or anything! Too funny. And yes, Z's favorite word all of the sudden is Poop. And he is constantly cracking up when he passes gas! Can't wait until he's like 8-10 and thinking all that stuff is super funny. Hope you have a great weekend!
Cody and Devin think knock knock jokes are hillarious and they never make any sense to me but like you I play along. Their jokes are always about applepie . Weird but cute.
sounds very familiar. We get very tired of the nonsensical knock-knock jokes too. and the kids think they are so funny. The other day in the car, Noelle and her friend were talking and saying "what if I was a _______ when I was born?" filling in the blank with stuff like a stop sign, lips, necklace, tu-tu, eyeball, and on and on and on...for like 10 minutes! And they were laughing hysterically!!! I don't remember thinking that kind of stuff was funny as a kid,I'm sure my humor was much more sophisticated than theirs... but probably not
