Fall Weekend

John's parents came out to visit us from Chicago for the weekend. John had to study on Saturday so I took his parents and the kids to see the local Storybook Theatre's presentation of Pinocchio. It was the kids first live theatre performance and they both loved it. It was very interactive and a new take on the tradional story. We had a great time. Here is a picture of the kids with Grandma and Grandpa after the show enjoying the Fall leaves.
We hit Red Robin's for lunch afterwards and it was a nice end to our outing.

That evening Michael and Emily came over so we could make our way to the annual neighborhood Halloween party. Check us out last year here. Here we are this year. We had a fun time altogether as always.
Emily is a miss understood beauty gueen, I'm a butterfly (oh, and also 19 weeks pregnant in this photo for those of you that wanted a pregnant pic), Michael is the Lady's Man (check out that chest hair....eeek!) and John is the pregnant man. Okay, okay, so he didn't really plan a costume this year. To his credit, he hasn't had any spare time between school, work and family, so we let him have a pass this year.
