Children's Museum

This weekend was the first in the last seven I think in which we didn't have guests or were out of town for something. Don't get me wrong, we loved having all our summer guests and enjoyed our little out of town breaks, but it was nice to have a weekend that wasn't planned. We decided to take the kids up to the Seattle Children's Museum yesterday morning and we had a fun time altogether. The kids especially liked the Art Studio and the kid size grocery store/Taco Time restuarant they could pretend in. Oh, and Emilio loved the construction zone where Daddy built a house. We had lunch in Seattle Center afterwards and then bought some Almond Toffee Fudge to share. We ate it outside overlooking the "Seattle Tatoo Festival" (who knew?). We decided to leave once the band started dropping "F" bombs. Our kids are sponges these days and we have to be careful about that. All in all it was a great family day.
