Fairy House

Outside in the little yard we have backed against our alleyway, there is a very magical little world......... a Fairy House and Garden reside there.  Gabi, Emilio and my mom and I have been collecting little trinkets, and making little crafts for a little patch of dirt under a butterfly bush where we can pretend fairies flit about, sip nectar from flowers, and enjoy nature.  My kids are fully aware that fairies are not real, but it is fun to pretend, and to make a special little place that they can daydream about.  Nana recently planted some beautiful little ground cover plants and flowers around the fairy house, that Gabi waters every day.  Gabi has even received some very special gifts via her fairy house......a beautiful crown necklace which adorns her neck often, a Bella Sara horse named Diamond, a small vase, and a tiny pink pegasus that various friends and neighbors (or rather, visiting fairies, which is what Gabi likes to consider they are) have dropped off .  It is a fun little summertime creation.
